Ottawa, June 10, 2021 – Eight students participated as members of Team Canada-ISEF at this year’s virtual Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), May 16 to 21, and they represented the country extremely well, earning several awards.
“Canadian students excelled again at this year’s virtual ISEF”, says Prof. Patrick Whippey, chair of Team Canada’s selection panel. “During the six-day event, each student showed grit and determination to push past the challenges of a pandemic and deliver excellent online presentations that demonstrated imagination, critical thinking and scientific merit.”
Awards presented to Team Canada-ISEF during the 2021 virtual event include:
First Award – Translational Medical Science, $5,000, sponsored by Regeneron
