RRSF Schedule
Please be aware that the Regina Regional Science Fair schedule has changed from 2022
The 2023 RRSF will be held IN PERSON
on March 30 and March 31.
Judging will take place on March 30 between 6:30pm and 9pm
The awards ceremony will take place on March 31 beginning at 7:30pm
March 30
Time | Event | Information |
5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. | Project Set-Up and Safety Checks | The exhibit hall will be in the Research and Innovation Center Atrium at the University of Regina. Projects need to be set-up and safety checked before 5:30 p.m. Project photography will also occur at this time. The RRSF recommends that students plan to arrive by 5:30 at the latest. |
5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. | Supper | Students will be rotated through a provided supper. Students with special dietary needs should contact the chair of the Regina Regional Science Fair to make arrangements. |
6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. | Judging | Students will be escorted back to the RIC atrium in the University of Regina for judging. This process takes approximately 3 hours. Parents should plan to pick up students at 9:00 p.m. This portion of the event is closed to all members of the public. |
Please do not plan to pick up your child before 9 p.m. as we cannot guarantee that the judging process will be complete before 9 p.m.

6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. | Public Viewing | The exhibit hall will be opened for parents and community members to view the projects. Students should be at their projects to answer questions. RRSF volunteers will be in attendance. |
7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. | Tear Down | Students will remove their projects from the display area. |
7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. | Awards Ceremony | Guests will adjourn to the RIC 119 Auditorium for the awards ceremony. |
9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. | Meeting with CWSF Finalists | CWSF Finalists and Parents will meet to discuss the trip to the Canada-Wide Science Fair 2023 in Edmonton, AB |
