Applications closed for Team Canada to 2022 Regeneron ISEF

OTTAWA, December 16, 2021 – Youth Science Canada, Canada’s national organization engaging youth through STEM projects, has closed applications for selection to Team Canada-ISEF 2022.  In total, 81 applicants from seven provinces and one territory will be evaluated to select those who will advance to the second round.

On January 15, Youth Science Canada will announce the names of 30 students selected by its panel of STEM experts to continue to the final round of the application process. The 30 candidates, in grades nine through 12 (including Cégep in Quebec), will be asked to submit a five-page report and presentation on their project by March 6. Interviews on March 20 will determine the final eight members of Team Canada-ISEF 2022. The selected students will participate virtually at the 2022 Regeneron ISEF, held May 8 to 13, 2022, hosted by the city of Atlanta.

Last year, Team Canada-ISEF brought home four awards, shared among six students. Learn more here.
