Stockholm International Youth Science Seminar

The Stockholm International Youth Science Seminar is a multi-disciplinary seminar inspiring youth to science, highlighting some of the most remarkable achievements by young scientists around the world. The annual seminar takes place in Stockholm, Sweden, between the 4th and 11th of December containing a unique amalgamation of science and culture program.

Imagine presenting your research, representing the future of STEM in Canada and developing your leadership skills as you engage in educational, social and cultural activities and networking with 25 of the brightest young minds from around the world during Nobel Week. For one incredible alum, this is your chance to shine on a global stage, share your innovative work and be inspired by the achievements of your peers.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Age 18-25 during the event dates (December 4-11, 2024)
  • Presented or published an individual STEM research or engineering project in the past 12 months
