Are you ready to be part of Canada’s largest youth STEM event? Youth Science Canada is now accepting applications for Team UV—the dedicated group of volunteers and ambassadors who make the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) an inspiring and unforgettable experience. The 2025 fair will take place May 29 to June 7, 2025, at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton.

 

Three Exciting Ways to Get Involved

1. Become a CWSF Ambassador

Ambassadors are a core part of Team UV, supporting participants throughout the week. If you’re a former CWSF finalist aged 20–25, this is your opportunity to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders while developing leadership skills.

What Ambassadors Do:

• Guide and mentor participants throughout the fair week.
• Help create a welcoming and memorable experience for youth innovators.
• Represent the CWSF alum community with energy and enthusiasm.

2. Join the Team UV Organizing Committee

Team UV positions support the planning and execution of CWSF 2025 in key areas like school programming, participant experience, accessibility, and French services. These roles involve both preparation in the months leading up to the event and full on-site participation during fair week.

• French Services Coordinator
• Accessibility Support
• Participant Experience Support
• School Visits & STEM Expo Team
• Sponsorship Coordinator

3. Volunteer for the CWSF Week in Fredericton

If you’re local to Fredericton and unable to commit to a months-long role, there are still opportunities to join Team UV as a general volunteer. CWSF 2025 will need energetic individuals to support activities during the fair week, including participant programming, event logistics, and STEM Expo activities.
