OTTAWA, December 15, 2022 – Youth Science Canada, Canada’s national organization engaging youth through STEM projects, has closed applications for selection to Team Canada-ISEF 2023. In total, 96 applications from 9 provinces plus 2 students living abroad were submitted and will be evaluated to go onto the second round.

 

Youth Science Canada’s panel of STEM expert judges will select approximately 30 applicants to continue onto the second round of the application process. The selected students will be asked to submit a presentation on their project by March 5. After a round of interviews, the 8 members of Team Canada-ISEF 2023 will be revealed.

 

The 8 newly selected members of Team Canada-ISEF will participate in person at the 2023 Regeneron ISEF held in Dallas, Texas from May 14-19.

 

Last year, the 10 members of Team Canada-ISEF brought home 9 awards, including 7 grand awards and 2 special awards. Learn more here.
