This year, 10,000 students across Canada stood before judges, families, and communities to share their STEM projects, each one representing months of questions asked, problems tackled, and determination to find answers.

2025 Highlights:

• 390 finalists competed at the 63rd Canada-Wide Science Fair in Fredericton
• 98 affiliated regional fairs provided opportunities across all 13 provinces and territories
• Team Canada secured top honours at international competitions, including two EUCYS Core Prizes for the fourth consecutive year
• 5,000+ visiting students experienced STEM discovery at CWSF public viewing days
• $1.3 million+ awarded in scholarships, prizes, and international opportunities

From local classrooms to the international stage, Youth Science Canada supported young Canadians on their complete STEM journey. But impact isn’t measured only in medals; it’s in the confidence built, the community found, and the curiosity celebrated.
