Fair Schedule

Thursday, April 11

Project set up is from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the George Leach Centre on the Algoma University Campus. All projects must be completely set up within this time period. If for any reason part of the project cannot be left overnight, please arrange with the Algoma Rotary STEM Fair planning committee.

Friday, April 12

Exhibition: All participating grade 7 to 12 students must report to the fair site by 9:00 a.m. and be ready to present by 9:30 a.m. There will be a break in judging from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for students to have lunch (not provided). Judging will resume from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. before the awards ceremony. There will be STEM programming and some snacks provided throughout the day.

Awards Ceremony: An awards ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the George Leach Centre on Friday, April 12th. All students are encouraged to attend. There will be awards, cash prizes, and scholarships distributed. There may be members of the media present to take photos and ask a few short questions. Projects must be taken down and away immediately following the ceremony.
