About

Welcome To The Frontenac, Lennox & Addington Science Fair

The Frontenac, Lennox and Addington Science Fair (FLASF) is an annual event that provides an opportunity for students in Grades 5 to 12 in the region to showcase their knowledge, talents and ingenuity in science, engineering, and technology.

FLASF is a community-run, local competition where prizes, trophies, certificates, and cash awards are presented to students who have submitted projects that are deemed to be most impressive by our panel of judges. Approximately $20,000 in cash, summer camps, books, internships, and travel awards to the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) are given to the winning students each year. FLASF is an affiliate of Youth Science Canada, the national organization that promotes science and technology in youth and showcases projects created by Canadian youth annually at the Canada-Wide Science Fair.
