Youth Science Canada has identified seven challenges that focus on issues that are important to Canadian youth, the future of their country and their world. The Canada-Wide Youth Science Challenges are meant to inspire students to exercise their curiosity and creativity by answering a question or solving a problem by doing a science project. Today at its offices in New York City, Google launched the Google Science Fair (GSF) - a global online competition for students 13 to 18 years old. Students enter their projects online in a format very similar to that required by regional science fairs across Canada and the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF). Youth Science Canada is encouraging all Canadian students who sign up for the GSF to also enter their project in their local regional science fair. Read more
