We are thrilled to announce that Youth Science Canada has partnered with Rogers, who recently provided a $50,000 national community grant to support our efforts in fostering the growth and development of young Canadians who are passionate about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
At almost all of the of the 102 YSC-affiliated regional science fairs across Canada, one project will take home the Ted Rogers Innovation Award, and be recognized as a future leader and innovator. “At Rogers, we believe there is power in coming together to make a brighter future possible for generations to come,” said Peter King, Senior Director, Corporation Social Responsibility. “We are pleased to partner with Youth Science Canada and support these regional science fairs to help make a significant difference in the lives of our young participants.”
The Ted Rogers Community Grants program seeks to support Canadian organizations that emphasize the importance of expanding learning opportunities to aspiring young leaders. Rogers also helps Canadian youth through its Ted Rogers Scholarship Fund, with over 600 scholarships having been awarded to outstanding students from across the country since 2017.
