This morning finalists woke up bright and early to quickly eat breakfast and head to the Currie Gym for one of the most eagerly anticipated events of CWSF 2016…the keynote address by Colonel Chris Hadfield. As finalists, delegates and members of the public entered the gym, you could feel the excitement filling the room. Read more

After the long day of judging yesterday, finalists woke up rejuvenated and excited for their day of exploration. Starting in the morning, finalists and delegates began their hop-on-hop-off tour of Montreal. Double decker buses filled with students on campus and took them on a scenic tour around Montreal, making stops all across the city. Read more

Bright and early, the finalists arrived at the exhibit hall, dressed to impress for their full day of awards judging. Following the morning of presentations, the students were delighted to have a BBQ lunch in McConnell hall and relax before the judging continued throughout the afternoon. Read more

Today was an exciting and fast-paced day, starting off with project set-up and safety checks in the morning. Finalists and delegates teamed up to perfect their project displays and become acquainted with their fellow participants. Well, this marks the end of the 2015 Canada-Wide Science Fair! It’s been an amazing and unforgettable week here in Fredericton and sadly it’s time for all of us to say goodbye. After the whirlwind excitement of the awards ceremony on Friday evening, finalists got the chance to celebrate their achievements at the farewell dance held in the Student Union Building. Read more
