The Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) 2024 in Ottawa was a resounding success, bringing together young innovators, dedicated educators, and enthusiastic volunteers. With overwhelmingly positive feedback from all participants, the event highlighted the profound impact of celebrating youth in STEM across Canada.

230 Canadian students share $1.3 million in scholarships and awards at 2024 Canada-Wide Science Fair in Ottawa

Being inquisitive pays off. That’s the main message coming out of the 2024 Canada-Wide Science Fair held in Ottawa this week, Canada’s largest annual youth STEM event. This evening, close to 900 people attended the awards ceremony where a total of $1.3 million in awards, prizes and scholarships was presented to 230 students from coast to coast to coast.

2024 Distinguished Service Award Recipients Announced

Youth Science Canada is pleased to announce the eight recipients of its 2024 Distinguished Service Award. The Awards annually recognize up to ten volunteers and staff who have made an outstanding contribution, through innovation, long service, or leadership, to the organization or its programs at any level.
